    Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is currently seeking a District Manager, Las Vegas

    The District Manager (DM) is responsible for building strong professional relationships with trade accounts, making persuasive sales presentations, and closing sales. They guide the distributor sales team, conduct ongoing education and training, execute marketing programs, achieve specific objectives, and manage retail presence. The DM fosters relationships with key distributor Sales Reps and Managers, captures a disproportionate share of mind, and presents valuable trade observations for impactful sales programs. Developing relationships with distributor advocates is also part of their role, enhancing DFWS market presence and influence.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with wholesaler sales consultants and managers to further their knowledge of the Deutsch portfolio & to develop improved working relationships.
    • Interface directly with key on and off premise accounts to grow our business.
    • Prioritization of time, garnering of market knowledge, development of key trade/ distributor relationships, and attainment of success in the Casinos, Resorts, & Outlets on the Strip.
    • Conduct in-store tastings and events as necessary to move brands forward (can be nights/weekends).
    • Utilize internal business intelligence information & distributors account sold data to identify opportunities and achieve improved brand positioning.
    • Adhere to and effectively communicate company policies.
    • Perform administrative tasks as necessary in a timely manner.
    • Conduct sales meetings and product presentations for distributor sales teams.
    • Motivate and manage distributor sales forces and executives through leadership; inspiring confidence & gaining respect as an effective company spokesperson.
    • Manage key On & Off sale accounts by targeting sales by brand and monitoring execution via sales reports on a monthly basis
    • Assist in overall brand development by identifying new account opportunities and working with the distributor to find success.
    • Utilize market and customer knowledge to assist in the development of distributor programs.
    • Monitor and evaluate all program execution within distributor sales force while working in the trade.
    • Conduct retailer and wait staff trainings to help create in-house ambassadors for our brands.
    • Must be available to work nights for on premise sales and some weekends for sponsorships.
    • Strong interdepartmental communication skills

    Qualifications:

    • College degree is required.
    • A beverage industry professional with a minimum of 2 years sales experience with a supplier or distributor; wine knowledge strongly suggested.
    • Experience selling to all channels of trade with primary emphasis on-premise. Should have strong existing trade/account relationships; prior measurable success in selling with another supplier or distributor would be desirable.
    • Proven ability in territory sales management including creative and fact-based selling.
    • Objective oriented, focused, and aggressive individual who needs little direction or supervision
    • A strong team player able to work in an intense, fast-paced environment
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to direct the distributor and key trade relationships
    • Ability to multitask while prioritizing and successfully executing all company objectives.
    • "Can do" attitude with solid critical thinking skills to problem solve and overcome obstacles in a dynamic, ever changing, competitive environment on The Strip and the greater Las Vegas area.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong financial acumen and with an ability to find success within budgetary guidelines.
    • Coachable with a passion for professional growth and development
    • Computer literate and functional in Microsoft Office
    • Lift and carry wine bag.
