    What you'll do:
    The Welder position is responsible for welding various materials.

    Use modification and welding skills to build and rework productPerform welding (AWS 3G/4G) according to blue printsLearn and retain skills and practices needed to complete welding in assigned areRead and follow detailed operator instructions, installation drawings, blueprints, etc.

    Understand, and be able to articulate, the production flow of an assigned product line or areaSelf-check work and inspect prior processesUse basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools, as requiredMeet production goalsMaintain a clean and safe work areaInitiate process improvementsSupport 5S in work areaLead / perform lean eventsCommunicate with manufacturing and other cross-functional teams (engineering, materials, purchasing, sales, etcetera) to resolve issuesSolve complex problems with minimal assistanceWhat you need to be successful:High School Diploma or GEDExcellent attendancePositive attitudeStrong and consistent attention to detailSelf-motivated with the ability to stay on taskTeam orientedBasic computer skills are requiredMust be able to pass the required welding certification DuraMag test.

    Previous experience and/or certifications preferredMust understand AWS welding symbolsMust be able to set up, adjust, and maintain welding machinesMust be able to Mig or Tig weld steel, stainless, and aluminum as neededWilling to:
    Learn and rotate within various weld areasWear PPE respirators for an extended amount of timeImprove self/area/company (including pursuing additional training, if needed)

    Able to:
