Bauer Underground, a top utility installation contractor, is looking to collaborate with a skilled contract electrician to join our expanding services. As a contract electrician, your role will involve installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various construction projects, with a particular focus on underground utilities.

Electrician Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Bauer Underground team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems following established codes.
Inspect electrical components for hazards or defects.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine system layout.
Install wiring, conduits, and other components.
Test systems for proper functionality and safety.
Perform preventive maintenance for system longevity.
Adhere to safety protocols for a secure working environment.
Maintain accurate work records.

Electrician Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred.
Valid electrician license from Nebraska.
Proof of bonded and insured status.
Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in construction or utilities.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
Ability to interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina and dexterity for various job conditions.
Willingness to follow safety guidelines.
