Latchkey Assistant - Before/After School Care & Substitutes


Summary:
Provide before and after school care for children in Kindergarten-5th grade.

Assist the team leader in developing a fun and engaging atmosphere for children, while ensuring their health and safety in the educational environment.

Ideal candidate will have experience with or passion for working with children. Must have patience, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Must be reliable and dependable, and have a willingness to work and collaborate with peers/Latchkey team members.

Training provided by district.


Qualifications:
Ability to apply for and maintain a valid Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). The Office of Human Resources can assist with this process.


Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
