- Take charge of all financial and business operations
- Oversee bookkeeping
- Establish SaaS metrics (historical and projected) and conduct benchmarking
- Create and maintain highly accurate financial models on an ongoing basis
- Produce monthly SaaS financial and performance reports
- Generate reports for investor relations
- Manage Pricing Strategy & Contract negotiations
- Lead the fundraising process and conduct due diligence as necessary
- Work with the team to outline hiring plans and business strategy
- At least 15 years of experience in a financial role with progressively increasing responsibilities
- Previous involvement in raising $15M+ in venture financing
- Strong attention to detail and communication abilities

Purpose of the Role:

The VP, Strategic Finance will play a crucial role in facilitating the company's transition from a Pre-Series A startup phase to a phase of exponential growth across various regions.
We are seeking a VP, Strategic Finance with expertise in financial modeling and fundraising. The revenue model consists of fixed license fees and transaction fees, requiring a detailed approach to projecting customer growth beyond a simple sales pipeline analysis. As the company prepares for its next financing round, we aim to hire an experienced individual to take ownership of the financial operations and optimize their utility.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in financial leadership roles at venture-backed startups and has actively participated in raising over $15M in venture financing. They should be skilled in performing due diligence, preparing investor updates, and exhibiting a commitment to excellence.
The primary goal of this role is to offer Strategic Financial Leadership by working with the executive team to design and implement strategic financial plans, offering financial insights to bolster business growth, collaborating with cross-functional teams to accomplish organizational goals, leading the finance function, and establishing a robust foundation for future financing rounds.
