We are looking for a self-starter who is passionate about software and data and excited to work on new and emerging technologies. This position includes planning, designing and maintaining software. The individual will analyze, develop, test and assist in the integration of new applications or sources, and may lead teams or projects. We are looking for someone who can understand the full end to end scope and execute with a team. Experience working on products is required.

Location Portland, ME, USA Department Delivery Employment Type Full Time ** Key Responsibilities**

Design, Develop, Test and Review of code

Work with Solution Architect, Tech Lead and Infrastructure Lead to to define and implement best in class technologies for Arkalytics

Requirements Elicitation

Estimation and working with Project manager on task allocation

Identify Issues and Risks and escalate on time

Automate tools for deployment and to monitor system health and reliability to support business processes

Help setup and maintain test environments

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environments.

Mentor junior engineers and train them for success

Participate in Service Delivery / Production Support

** Skills Knowledge and Expertise**

Bachelors degree in a relevant field or comparable work experience.

5+ years of experience in a similar individual contributor role. 1-3+ years of experience in a team lead role is a plus

Experience with AWS is a must. Openstack or other cloud providers is a plus

Strong background in Python is a must. Experience with other scripting or programming languages such as C#, Javascript, Go, etc is a plus

Experience with Docker, ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes, microservices, message queues and related technologies is a must

Experience in production/Service delivery support is a must

Demonstrated leadership of a team of professionals

Experience with some form of CI/CD such as Jenkins is required

Experience working on any one Database such as Snowflake, SQLServer, Oracle, Aurora, PostgreSQL is a must

Experience working with APIs, specifically REST APIs, SDKs and CLI tools is a must

Experience working with multi-format files like JSON, XML, CSV, Flat, etc

Knowledge of Git is a must. Jira, Confluence, Slack in an agile environment is a nice to have

Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB is a nice to have

**Preferred Experience**

AWS **Developer** Associate certified or AWS **Solution** **Architect** certified or AWS **SysOps** Administrator is a must

AWS professional or specialty certified is a nice to have

Domain exposure in Financial Services

Domain exposure to Product Development
