    Pyramid Healthcare, a national leader in behavioral healthcare, is proud to operate our outpatient, Substance Use Disorder treatment center in Butler. Offering a comprehensive outpatient treatment options to our clients we work to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are effective in helping our clients achieve long-term recovery from substance use disorders.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provides direct care to clients
    • Consults with primary healthcare providers to ensure physical healthcare needs of clients are met
    • Coordinates with medical staff of other providers such as state and inpatient facilities.
    • Include doing history and physicals, reviewing labs, monitoring blood levels, medication management, preparing discharges (physician orders, scripts).
    • Provides support and resources to the clinical staff as needed.
    • Coordination with clinical staff and the primary care physician when appropriate.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education, Experience Requirements

    • Active medical license in Pennsylvania
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in addiction medicine and/or family practice medicine.
    • FP Board Certification preferred, strong background in D&A and Co-Occurring Disorders
