    Description

    Top nursing organization TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel nurse opening in the United States.

    About the Role

    • Specialty: Labor and Delivery
    • Discipline: RN
    • Duration: 13 weeks
    • Hours per week: 36 hours
    • Shifts: 12-hour days, on a regular schedule as needed by facility requirements. Could be adjusted subject to hospital needs. But always done during day times - that could not change!

    This position requires registered nurses with at least three years of recent acute care experience including work in labor delivery units similar to this one requested.L&D Travel Nurses provide care and support for women before, during, after delivery of baby. They ensure medical emotional needs are met throughout birthing process & show respect when appropriate toward each patient being treated like every individual deserves.

    L&D RNs must stay with patients through their entire journey from pregnancy until birth often performing tasks such as checking cervix periodically monitoring contractions helping women manage breathing techniques ensuring beds remain clean dry while also aiding physicians preparing them for cesarean deliveries immediately taking care newborn babies born naturally without complications needing assistance elsewhere.
