- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Act as a strategic business partner to department leaders, providing financial guidance, insights, and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with operation teams to understand key drivers of performance and implement financial strategies to drive business success.
- Collaborate with senior management to evaluate and support strategic initiatives, capital projects, and other business development opportunities.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess potential impacts on financial outcomes and advise on risk management strategies.
- Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless communication and alignment of financial plans with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on financial and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous performance enhancements.
- Proven track record of driving commercial finance initiatives, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization efforts in a dynamic business environment.
- Knowledge of commercial finance principles, including pricing analysis, revenue forecasting, and customer segmentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on business partnering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and data-gathering skills.
- High proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
- Advanced competency using Excel formulas and functions on a daily basis.
- Proven work experience in a quantitatively heavy role.
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a quantitatively heavy role - preferred
- Familiarity with data query/data management tools (Access, SQL, Business Objects) - preferred
- FMVA or similar designations - preferred
- Ability to work both weekend days, Saturday and Sunday - strongly preferred
