    Job Title: Snowflake AWS Integration Architect

    Location: Chicago, IL or Peoria, IL Hybrid

    Duration: 10+ Months

    Job Description:

    Position's Contributions to Work Group:
    Actual job title would be an Snowflake/AWS Integration Architect As an architect / Engineer you will lead all stages of software development including refining product vision, gathering requirements, project planning, software system design, coding, testing, release, deployment and support. Will be optimizing and simplifying existing structures. Leading the team in adapting best practices to increase efficiency.

    Typical task breakdown:
    Review the snowflake integration design - using this design to continue to build multiple use cases
    Manage the CI/CD of snowflake Changes
    Admin the snowflake environment (Pipe, Warehouse, user ...)
    Automate the data quality activities in snowflake (Task , workflow)
    Integrate AWS - Snowflake - PowerBI - UI Apps

    Work environment:
    Hybrid role in Chicago/Peoria office (3x days onsite)

    Education & Experience Required:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science or Electrical engineering or related field is required
    10 years or more of software development experience or at least 8 years of experience with master's degree in computer science or related field.
    REQUIRED: Snowflake certification
    REQUIRED: AWS Certification SA (Solutions Architect) or Data and Analytics specialty Critical

    Technical Skills
    (Required)
    3+ years Snowflake Architect level experience (Production Grade ): ie previous titles like Data Analytics Architect or Principle Engineer
    5+ AWS Cloud Experience (Production Grade)
    3+ Implementations in snowflake and understand the advanced capabilities like ML Model deployment etc. Snowflake Optimization experience (Auto clustering, Warehouse, Query plan) etc.
    SQL performance tuning
    Exp with AWS well architected framework

    Soft Skills
    (Required)
    Demonstrated leadership on medium to large-scale projects impacting strategic priorities.
    Ability to cope with shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to effectively prioritize, delegate responsibilities and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints Passion for technology and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.

    Disqualifiers/Red Flags:
    If the candidate does not have AWS experience and it is not demonstrated in the resume how they utilized AWS, they will DQ.
    Candidates' current location must be on resume, if not it will be DQ not exceptions.
    If candidate is not currently in Chicago/Peoria area, DO NOT submit them, they will be DQ.
    If candidate is open to relocating on their own dime, please list that on the resume (these candidates will not be shortlisted initially for WD review)

    Interview Process:
    Resume filtering by WD Team Lead
    1st interview will be technical interview with Team WD (45 min)
    2nd interview will be with workstream tech lead and engineer manager (1 h)
