Job Description



As a Security Officer - Flex Mobile Patrol in Calhoun, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. At Allied Universal, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working as one team and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

    • What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, documentation, and notification per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and support entry and exit control for employees, contractors, and deliveries, including checking identification and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs.
  • Complete detailed, timely written reports of patrol findings, irregular conditions, alarms, and/or policy violations, and communicate pertinent information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

    • Minimum Requirements:

  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
