Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Director.

*We are looking for a registered nurse with the skills and demonstrated leadership in a hospital for this role on behalf of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.

*Shift: *Days Monday - Friday, 24 hour coverage, _weekend and on-call as needed._

Current California RN license OR temporary CA license. (Must have proof of temp license to submit) \Interim CA Licenses not accepted.

* *Experience:

Minimum 5 years clinical management and administrative experience in related environment.

* *Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's in Nursing or related field preferred

*Unit and Skills Required*:

The ED is a 45-50 bed unit with a variety of diagnoses including Cardio-vascular patients, bleeding, breathing difficulties, seizures, pain, heart attack, stroke, and trauma.

Ability to manage staff and change through collaborative and positive leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members, hospital staff, physicians, and patients.
