    Description

    The Center for Packaging and Device Analytics (CPDA) at the West Point PA location offers expert analysis to support the production and launch of packaging and device products.

    • Looking for a laboratory scientist to evaluate and characterize primary packaging components like bottles and blisters.
    • Hands-on work with standard primary packaging assessments and mechanical testing methods.
    • Prior experience with laboratory experiments, a passion for experimental work, and the ability to document results.

    Qualifications:

    • Technical degree (Associate/BS or higher) with hands-on experience in laboratory experimentation.
    • Knowledge of packaging and mechanical testing methods is a plus.
    • Experience in a GMP laboratory environment is beneficial.
    • Desired traits: Flexible, collaborative, attention to detail, and technically curious.
    • Hands-on lab experience in academic or industrial settings.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
    • Proven ability to work independently.

    Must-haves:

    • Experience in analytical method development.
    • Method validation skills.
    • Mechanical testing background.
    • Technical degree.
    • Hands-on lab experience in academic or lab settings.
    • Knowledge of method development and packaging testing.

    Nice-to-haves:

    • Device validation experience is a plus.
    • Design verification is also beneficial.

    Software: MS Office (Word, Excel), ELN.
