    Responsibilities:

    The CVN Laundry and Galley Technician will support the Commander Naval Air Forces Atlantic (CNAL) East Coast CVN Aircraft Carriers as part of the Carrier Engineering Maintenance Assist Team (CEMAT) Program.

    The laundry and galley technician will support the Enhanced Quality of Life (EQOL) program Technical Guidance, Material, Logistics, and Training support to CNAL Staff and ship force for Food Service, Galley, Reach-In/Walk-In Refrigeration, and Laundry equipment and systems onboard all CNAL assigned Aircraft Carriers in assessment, maintenance, repair, and operation.

    The technician will be responsible for learning and using Noblis standard principles, concepts, processes, structure, techniques, tools, and methodologies to solve routine real-world problems using basic skills. Apply particular project or technical/functional area knowledge and concepts and operate with close supervision, following direction and guidance from others. Engage independently in activities such as research, data gathering, data manipulation and interpretation; consolidate findings and identify key themes from gathered data and analysis. Begin to demonstrate personal flexibility through learning and self-development and the ability to communicate effectively with others.

    Required Qualifications:

    A Bachelor's degree in a technical filed OR Associates Degree and 4 years OR a HS diploma and 6+ years experience with either Surface Ship Class or Aircraft Carrier Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) experience onboard surface ships or aircraft carriers.

    • Prior naval service and experience onboard Surface Ship and/or aircraft carriers is required.
    • Experience working with or at naval industrial activities or facilities.
    • Experience with shipboard configuration (CDMDOA) and other Naval Supply System databases.
    • Employee must have an active Security Clearance at the SECRET level.
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Candidate must have excellent skills both written and verbal.
    • Candidate should have extensive experience and be well versed in all Microsoft Office Suite products.
    • Prior experience working onboard government facilities is preferred, not required.

    Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis total compensation package for employees.

    Posted Salary Range:
    USD $45, USD $80,190.00 /Yr.
