Our work depends on an DevOps engineer joining our team to support Government activities in the Washington As a DevOps Engineer supporting the Government, you will be a part of a team charged with hands-on testing, verifying, creating, and building out new configurations in the JWICS Modernization Lab before introduction into the live environment.
Extensive experience with Redhat and/or CentosDemonstrated experience in server builds using automated mechanismsDemonstrated experience with Ansible playbooks or puppet modules for virtual and physical instance provisioning, configuration management, patching, and software developmentDemonstrated experience with Ansible or PuppetDemonstrated experience with GitlabDemonstrated experience deploying Docker engines in virtualized platforms for containerization of multiple appsDesired Skills
DevOps experience building and deploying cloud infrastructure with technologies like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Hands-on experience with data formats including XML, PCAP, images, and mediaHands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Map Reduce, Spark, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, FlumeExperience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworksExperience with Scrum/Agile development methodologiesPossess 3-5 years of experience and familiarity with the following software/tools:
Infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Vagrant, etc.
Build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
Monitoring technologies like Nagios, Ganglia, etc.
Modern programming languages like Java, Python, etc.
Building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.
Elastic Search and relational database
All positions require active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly unless otherwise noted.
In resumes, start and end dates for experience must contain month and year. The total years of experience are calculated from the first of the month to the end of the month.
For example:
March 2014 -September 2014 would equal 7 months of experience (3/1/ /30/2014).National Guard/Military Reserve time considered as work experience must be clearly identified and is calculated as 34 days per year (2 days x 10 months + 2 weeks).
