- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Floor Tech or similar role.
- Knowledge of different floor types and the appropriate cleaning and maintenance methods.
- Familiarity with various floor care equipment, including buffers, polishers, and vacuums.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Clean and maintain various floor surfaces, including carpets, tiles, hardwood, and laminate.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors on a regular basis.
- Stripping, waxing, and polishing floors using appropriate products and equipment.
- Removing stains, spills, and debris from floors.
- Inspecting and reporting any damages or repairs needed for floors.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitary guidelines.
- Keeping inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Assisting with other cleaning tasks as needed.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment.
- Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and address cleaning needs.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report any issues.
