What You'll Do:
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Traeger technology team.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide new and innovative ideas to automate Traeger's infrastructure and operations environments.

We are looking for candidates with drive to make a difference and who are not afraid to experiment and learn new technologies.

How

You Will Help Us Win:
Interface directly with other developers, teams, in order to provide automation services to the organization
Support and maintain the production environment along with the build and release processes which includes the supporting tools
Work on multiple projects simultaneously; helping identify technical and governance similarities for best practices is a critical skill
Assists in continuous integration, rapid deployment, and testing of software for both infrastructure and product use
Builds, releases, and configures management toolsets for production systems
Contributes and improves continuous delivery of software
Collaborates and communicates closely with teams to provide solutions to infrastructure and software engineering tasks
Supports DevOps projects and software in production environments
Assists in assessment of products and services for DevOps functions
System troubleshooting and problem solving across platforms and applications
Identify manual processes that can be automated

Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.


Preferred Qualifications:
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 2 years equivalent work experience.
Certifications in AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional preferred
Strong scripting, API, and automation skills
Proficiency in one or more of the following languages:
Python
JavaScript
Unix Shell Scripting
Cloud Administration (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Experience with Chef, Ansible, Puppet a plus
A solid understanding of Network and Security best practices
Familiarity with Rest API Calls and tools such as Postman
