    Description

    Uses all types of paints, thinners, safety solvents, and performs mixing procedures to specifications to paint units or their components with proper application techniques.

    Performs hydro testing.
    Uses proper procedures, material and equipment.
    Perform housekeeping and other duties as required.
    Must understand and follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Handling equipment (frequently). Identify production line and maintain daily log on all usage of material.
    Manufacturing – Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), cold/heat (outdoor). Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.


    TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
    Forklift, spray paint equipment.

    Two to four years experience with industrial type paint, enamel, zinc, carboline, amerlock, solvents, epoxy and thinners. Knowledgeable in the preparation of material, mixtures and equipment. Ability to maintain clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.
