Job Summary
The Samaritan Emergency Department is part of the Emergency Service Line and is a community hospital ED.Triage where the patient is seen to determine how to prioritize their care needs, chair centric and express care intended for low acuity patients that can be seen and discharged within 60 minutes.
The acute care area is a 16 bed area where common emergency complaints like abdominal pain, stable chest pain, and mild to moderate shortness of air receive care.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- knowledge of Maslow's eight Basic Human Needs
- super direct patient care and critical thinking skills;
- basic computer navigation skills;
- ability to communicate in a professional manner with patients and families , co-workers , physicians ; And strong organizational , prioritization , delegation skill .
