    Welcome to the team!

    We're on the lookout for a Research Data Scientist with a strong drive and skills to join us. As part of our team, you'll be instrumental in leading our research endeavors in AI, machine learning, computational biology, and organ transplantation.

    Role Overview:

    • Develop and apply advanced machine learning models and computational techniques for analyzing complex datasets in biological systems, organ transplantation, and immunological processes.
    • Collaborate with diverse teams to tackle research challenges in organ transplantation and cancer, and create effective analytical strategies.
    • Utilize big data analytics to extract valuable insights from various data sources, including clinical records, experimental results, and genetic information.
    • Create and enhance algorithms and computational workflows for data processing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
    • Conduct detailed exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization to reveal patterns and trends.
    • Keep abreast of the latest AI, machine learning, bioinformatics, and computational biology advancements, and apply them to our research goals.
    • Assist in drafting research papers, presentations, and grant proposals by summarizing and communicating findings effectively.
    • Provide mentorship to junior team members to nurture a collaborative and innovative research setting.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related quantitative field.
    • Experience in applying machine learning techniques to complex biological or medical datasets.
    • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or MATLAB, and working with large datasets and relevant libraries.
    • Knowledge of bioinformatics tools, databases, and biological data analysis methods.
    • Basic understanding of immunology, organ transplantation, or related fields is advantageous.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex research problems.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
