    LPN / LVN Opportunity - Direct Primary Care Model


    Health by Design has an immediate full-time opening for an experienced LVN/LPN to work in our Direct Primary Care /Family Medicine Clinic located in North San Antonio, near the San Antonio International Airport.

    What is Direct Primary Care? DPC primary care physicians treat patients without an insurance company in the middle - this allows physicians to spend more time with each patient, 30-60 minutes per visit as opposed to the 10-15 minutes per visit in an insurance-based clinic.

    This unique model allows both provider and staff to build relationships with patients leading to better clinical outcomes


    This individual will assist Physicians and Registered Nurses with patients in a primary care, outpatient clinic setting which sees an all-adult patient population.

    Must be comfortable drawing blood and prior EMR experience is required (we use eCW).

    30 hours a week; Monday, Thursday & Friday from 8:00am - 3:00pm and Tuesday/Wednesday from 10:00am - 5:00pm. 30 hours a week is considered full-time with full benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, PTO, etc. No late hours, no nights, no weekends, and no 12-hour shifts.
