    Loesel-Schaaf is a growing and we are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Team Lead/Compliance Officer in our Employee Benefits Department. This is an internal role that requires someone with initiative, a passion for learning, and a desire to take on new challenges.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the HRIS (Employee Navigator) expert
    • Work with our ERISA attorney to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
    • Various reporting tasks related to employee benefits and group carriers
    • Lead the support staff for the Employee Benefits Department

    Requirements

    Specialized Skills, Knowledge or Licensure:

    • Experience in Employee Benefits or Group Carrier Roles
    • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excel Proficiency
    • Strong Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail
    • Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and the ability to learn other software programs
    • Strong Math Skills
    • High Level Accuracy and Thoroughness
    • Strong Customer Service Skills
    • Investigate/Research and Problem Solving Ability

    Preferred Experience:

    • Supervisory Experience
    • Technical knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements in relation to Federal and State laws affecting group insurance such as COBRA, HIPAA, HITECH, the Affordable Care Act, and CMS
    • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team
    • Ability to Collaborate with Internal and External Contacts
