    Soliant Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a reputable school district in Wheeling, IL. This full-time onsite position involves providing specialized instruction and support to elementary students in a resource setting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of elementary students in the resource program.
    • Deliver specialized instruction, interventions, and accommodations to support students' academic and behavioral progress.
    • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure effective implementation of educational plans.
    • Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports in accordance with district and state requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
    • Illinois state certification in Special Education
    • Previous experience in teaching special education, specifically at the elementary level
    • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation strategies
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team

    Caseload and Schedule:

    The position will involve working with elementary students in a resource setting. The full-time schedule will align with standard school hours for the current school year.
