Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical


Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.


Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
• Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications, and assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, and selfcare techniques
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and occupational health standards
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance nursing skills

Skills:

• Strong background in medical/surgical nursing
• Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desired
• Proficient in performing sonography and interpreting results
• Excellent assessment skills and ability to monitor patient conditions
• Knowledge of administering injections and suturing wounds
• Familiarity with occupational health protocols
• Ability to work effectively in highpressure situations, such as an emergency room setting

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of [Location]
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in medical/surgical nursing
