    The Workplace Service Specialist will provide support to meeting contacts, organizers and facilitators for meetings and events. Office service specialist will maintain an orderly, clean, stocked conference and meeting rooms. Monitor and maintain all equipment is working and in presentable condition for usage. Provide professional and positive demeanor when providing day-to-day meeting and general office support.
    Collaborate with meeting planners to provide a positive overall meeting experience.


    Responsibilities:
    Oversee conference and meeting room set-up requests to include room set-up, equipment, and supplies.

    Perform daily walkthrough of meeting and conference rooms to assure cleanliness, equipment is operable, stock supplies and report equipment deficiencies to Work service manager for collaborative resolution.

    Maintain orderly and stocked supply closets. Order supplies as needed with approval from Workplace manager.
    Perform and report inventory of equipment, communicate deficiencies or equipment enhancementsto improve services.
    Collaborate with Workplace manager to maintain a list of preferred catering, event vendor partners assuring COI and maintainservicecompliance.
    Maintain, update meeting space usage calendar and publish monthly or as requested.
    Assist in imputing visitor information access into Rise system for meeting attendees.
    Monitor and respond to Remedy Force ticket requests for room set-up or meeting services.
    Function as a secondary approver for conference room approvals in a timely response time.
    Partner with VizTech on all audio / visual equipment requests, maintain understanding of equipment and operation.
    Serve as a Safety Coordinator.
    Provide oversight for meeting and conferencing space in the office. Provide feedback on service improvements.
    Provide reception coverage for breaks and lunch.
    Create and respond to work order maintenance requests.
    Check and respond to Office Service emails and voice mails throughout the day.

    Provide support to Workplace manager for projects, office support, in- office event, meetings, communication, vendor management and tasks assigned to support department and office space.


    Qualifications:
    Relevant degree preferred.
    Previous Hospitality or Office support service experience required.
    Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM (EST).
    Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required.
    Knowledge of/or the ability to learn Workday, Adobe Reader, Eden hotel software.
    Knowledge of/or the ability to learn Remedy Force ticket software application.
    Able to successfully certify in AED/CPR Training.
    Must be able to lift 50lbs, Sit, Stand, Lift, and walk for periods of time through a shift.

    Possess strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively, positive manner and be able to collaborate with all levels of the organization.

    Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
