Company / Team Culture:
At DV Therapy Inc., we specialize in speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and ABA services all aimed at fulfilling the needs of the community. With a strong focus on individuals with developmental disabilities, our therapists use the latest evidence-based practices to deliver exceptional assessment and therapy services. Our team of OTR/Ls and COTA/Ls work closely to provide comprehensive support to parents and clients through various therapeutic techniques, promoting self-care practices, sensory processing, and integration approaches. While mainly focusing on pediatric clients, there are opportunities to work with adults with orthopedic and neuromuscular issues, as well as school-based clients (OTR/Ls only). Occasionally, telehealth sessions may also be included.

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in pediatric occupational therapy, especially with autistic, developmentally delayed children, etc.
· Ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Positive and patient attitude, especially in adapting and modifying treatment sessions
· Current NBCOT and California COTA/L or OTR/L certification

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Conduct screenings and evaluations with OTR/L
· Deliver occupational therapy in clinic-based settings
· Develop and implement ongoing treatment plans
· Create and update progress reports regularly
· Maintain accurate client records
· Educate families and other professionals on care plans
· Assist in expanding the OT department through various programs, activities, and training sessions
