Setting:
Outpatient Imaging / Radiology
Schedule:
Monday - Friday (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) ; Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Mammography Technician to join our radiology team.
This full-time, on-site role is responsible for performing high-quality mammographic imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during exams
Maintain adherence to quality control protocols and regulatory standards
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate diagnostics
Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
Participate in ongoing quality assurance and compliance activities
Qualifications
Current New Jersey State License
ARRT Certification (Radiography)
Mammography certification through ARRT
Specialized training in mammography
Continuing education compliance (average of 5 mammography-specific ECEs per year)
Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
