The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing excellent service to customers and ensuring that all options to resolve customer concerns and/or requests are exhausted.
Answer inbound calls from customers through an automated dialer system and communicate account information in a professional and efficient manner.
Participate in welcome call dialer campaigns and assist customers with any questions they may have about their new relationship with Veros Credit.
Also participate in outbound call dialer campaigns.Routinely communicate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and route customers to the appropriate department as needed.
Evaluate the customer's concern and/or request to determine the best solution and educate the customer on any required course(s) of action.
Update account information in accordance with established procedures and security guidelines and perform accurate account documentation.Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying.
Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence.
Prepare and submit payment deferment and due date change correspondence.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
1+ year(s) of experience in the customer service and/or collections field, preferably in the subprime auto finance industry.
Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Effective organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
Ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team.
Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed.
High School Diploma or GED.
Salary $ $20.00 per hour
