PROGRAM MANAGER (PM)
AAC Inc is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional for an Information Technology PM role to support the U.S. Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL) in Ann Arbor, MI.
Key responsibilities:
The PM will possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.
The PM shall plan each phase of projects, assess business implications for each phase, evaluate performance results, and recommend changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
The PM shall function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across multiple project assignments and supervise subordinates.
The PM shall be skilled in serving as a liaison between business objectives and technical aspects of projects.
The PM shall be required to track work tasks designated as projects in the approved project management methodology tracker. This documentation shall serve as the meeting agenda at the project status update meetings with the EPA Operations team, and it shall be sent by the PM to the EPA COR by the close of business each Friday with status remarks at the conclusion of each week.
The PM shall have working experience within the Environmental Protection Agency and/or the Dept of Energy.
Required qualifications and certifications:
The PM shall hold a certification obtained from the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
The PM shall meet one of the following requirements:
o 5yrs of experience leading projects (with a high school diploma or associate degree)
o 3yrs of experience leading projects (with a four-year degree)
o 2yrs of experience if the PM is a graduate of a Global Accreditation Center (GAC) program
The PM shall be a technical expert in at least one major IT support area, such as IT security, network engineering, telecommunications, or a similar IT area
