This position supervises and coordinates day-to-day referral activities for an ambulatory clinic.
Responsibilities
- Provides oversight of daily operations including participating in hiring, staffing training coaching feedback ensuring compliance of regulatory policies procedures recommending changes as identified assists with personnel payroll functions provides daily support Kronos time managed works closely Manager effective scheduling staff workflow provide optimum coverage available resources meet department goals production quality ensures appropriate budgetary standards implemented maintained labor supplies supports manager answering inquiries providing information resolving complaints patients internal external departments referrals reviews referrals authorization requirements assure compliance health plans monitors managed care referral process ensure accurate consistent process results responsible proficiently tracking recording reports referral system provides standard excellence customer services patients staff customers participates active care team coordination patient care qualifications experience working Referral Coordinator Ambulatory clinic required thorough knowledge insurance HMO Medicare Medicaid PPO POS third-party payors required education High School Diploma required
