    About the Position:

    The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers.

    Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation. Responsibilities Serve as Team Leader/Senior Financial Analyst in the complex management and execution of the organization's financial programs.

    Provide to managers and senior accountants the command's financial management requirements regarding the federal financial process and how the various financial documents interrelate.

    Perform team lead duties to ensure the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.

    Serve as coach, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members.

    Assist the Financial Inventory Account (FIA) accountant(s) in the analysis of inventory variances and preparation of narrative reports to senior management and higher headquarters.

    Specialized Experience:

    One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which includes (1) Applying theories, regulations, current/revised guidance, management practices and policies regarding all facets of the financial program in order to provide feasible recommendations/advice; (2) Responsible for general ledger to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, and other accounts in support of various regulatory financial reports; and (3) Ability to lead.

    Grade Requirement:

    Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

    Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

    You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or upon entry, and annually thereafter. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a Comptroller CP-11 Career Field position. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. PCS is not authorized.
