Job summary
We are seeking an entry-level Field Technician to conduct leakage surveys on pipelines including company distribution and transmission lines public buildings downtown buildings schools highway railroad crossings manholes repaired unrepaired gas leaks advanced mobile leak survey related work orders inspect calibrate maintain repair leakage survey tools equipment safely drive maintain company vehicle operate advanced mobile leak survey unit complete update reports gas leaks equipment maintenance time entry vehicle inspections fire extinguisher inspections help customer service tasks gas service turnoffs remediation above ground leaks lubrication adjusting tightening review completed survey work accuracy completeness meet RCC OCC regular reliable attendance required performance job additional duties assignedQualifications
- H.S. Diploma preferred
- Working knowledge of leakage survey procedures
- Working knowledge use function maintenance leakage survey tools equipment applications
- Working arithmetic addition subtraction multiplication division tested
- Company governmental operating safety procedures basic customer service activities changing charts locating lines characteristics natural gas working calculations classification gas leak severity levels transmission distribution pipeline system operations
- Able read interpret maps blueprints plats atlas pages diagrams dials gauges work logs job orders operation repair manuals/li>
- Able read write fluently English/li>
