Job summary
This position performs lead work over subordinate Corrections Officers or other specialized work in the care custody and control of inmates. Ensures security is maintained within an assigned area. Directs subordinate Corrections Officers or performs other specialized work involving the custody supervisions and non-professional counseling of inmates on an assigned shift.Responsibilities
- Exercise care custody and control over inmates
- Apply physical force and intervention when appropriate and necessary
