    *Seeking an MRI TECHNOLOGIST for a Full time and Permanent Role at a Large Health System near Kansas City**Job Details: *MRI Technologist - Full Time | Perm
    *Location: *Kansas City Metro Area
    *Salary: *$ $46.63+ *and up* depending on years of experience + Shift differentials

    *Benefits*: Comprehensive Benefits Package

    *Schedule:
    • M-F 1:30pm - 10:30pm
    *On Call:* weekend rotation every 5th week *Job Description: The MRI technologist is responsible for producing quality MR images while providing optimal patient care and applying all principles of patient safety. MRI technologists are expected to participate in on-going training and education relating to positioning, technique and MRI safety guidelines. *Requirements:

    • Graduate AMA approved School
    • 1+ Year Experience
    • Confident with pacemakers License Required:
    • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
    *Certificates Required:
    • BLS
    *Equipment used:
    • Siemens 1.5 T Sola, Cerner, Unity PACS, Interview PACS
    • Achieva 1.
    5 Philips Magnet experience a plus *Responsibilities of MRI Tech:


    • Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique and may require remote MR Technologists Assistant oversite.
    • Produces high quality diagnostic images. Operation of multiple MR systems may be required.
    • Demonstrates the ability to use all channels of communications to address concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.
    • Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
    • Trains and orients new technologists, patient coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants, on site. Interested and want to learn more?
