    Note: This position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in the office 8 days per month at our St. Petersburg FL corporate office.


    Job Summary:


    The ServiceNow Platform & Solutions Architect takes a lead role in building detailed architecture blueprints and roadmaps to enable solving business problems of highest priority and complexity across the business groups.

    Provides comprehensive solutions to complex issues and problems. Defines, oversees, and maintains architectural integrity of the overall technology solution of a project, product, or system.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Engage as the subject matter expert, ServiceNow Platform & Solutions Architect and set technical direction, leading the development team to implement solutions including configuring ServiceNow, developing customizations and integrations.
    • Lead and deliver requirements, scoping and design workshops, ensuring requirements are well documented and proposed solution is scalable.
    • Builds conceptual architecture design for process and deployment architectural views.
    • Focuses on integration and interfacing with all architecturally defined layers.
    • Reviews application and project high-level architectural design to assess impact to overall solution architecture.
    • Designs solutions within defined architectural standards, principles and guidelines.
    • Works with the business to ensure thorough requirements to meet the business needs.
    • Design and develop solutions needed to meet these business requirements.
    • Provides breadth and depth of knowledge in areas involving infrastructure and operational interfacing across applications; does "deep dive" on technical issues.
    • Works to make sure software engineering processes address infrastructure and interfacing concerns and requirements.
    • Understands, advocates, and augments the principles of information technology strategies.
    • Designs and participates in the governance activities associated with ensuring compliance with the enterprise technical and/or solutions architecture.
    • Consults with application development projects to fit systems to the enterprise technical and/or solution architecture and identifies when it is necessary to modify the application to accommodate new technology and/or solution and application trends or vice versa.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Knowledge of the following recommended:

    • ServiceNow IT Modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, GRC, SecOps, Vulnerability Response, Service Portal, SAM Pro, Integration Hub, and/or Performance Analytics).
    • Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, Cloud Management, including ServiceNow Common Service Data Model.
    • All components of the solution architecture and process.
    • Basic financial models and budgeting.
    • Basic graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories.

    Skill in:

    • Development in JavaScript on the ServiceNow Platform
    • Integrations (e.g., REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, JDBC, Orchestration, etc.)
    • Scoped Applications
    • Flow Designer
    • Integration Hub
    • Service Portal

    Ability to:

    • Promote the benefits of change and developing systems and/or procedures to effectively implement change.

    Education/Previous Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related study a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience OR any equivalent combination of education, experience and training as approved by Human Resources.
    • Ideally five (5) years working on the ServiceNow platform or eight (8) years of Industry experience.
    • Working knowledge of IT Operations Management and CMDB Processes (Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB/CSDM, Cloud Management, Orchestration)

    Licenses/Certifications:

    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is a plus.
