    Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a construction superintendent who has experience working with large and local government construction projects. The Superintendent will report directly to the General Superintendent and work closely with the Project Manager and other members of the team.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate and schedule trade/subcontractors, material/equipment deliveries, and project progress
    • Ensure compliance with contract documents, trade/subcontractor scope of work, project schedules, and specifications
    • Maximize production, eliminate disruptions, and avoid downtime
    • Comprehend all scopes of work and aid in dispute resolution
    • Implement and enforce all pertinent safety and quality control policies and procedures
    Project Specific Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain project schedule
    • Attend meetings and inspections as necessary
    • Maintain accurate and organized documentation
    • Ensure safety protocols are followed on site
    Skills and Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience in large commercial construction
    • 2+ years of experience working with local government construction projects
    • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
