Join CoVantage Credit Union's driven Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) team as a full time IT Security Administrator This individual will take the lead with assessing remediation patches and configurations and will have general security responsibilities managing the protections of the credit union's data, systems, and applications.

They will assist desktop and server support teams in providing standard, secure configurations through the credit union.

They will have the opportunity to work with other IS&T teams to ensure servers, applications, end user computers and infrastructure are maintained to best meet the needs of the credit union mission.

Job Duties

Administers and implements new systems or changes to the technology infrastructure with minimum disruption to supported systems.
Provides project coordination and daily management of tasks.
Performs daily monitoring of security related tools for potential vulnerabilities.
Provides recommendations for improvements and optimization of the patch and update process.
Partners with other IS&T managers and departments to resolve incidents and respond to service requests.
Supports training for technicians on vulnerability remediation, patching and updating, as well as general desktop maintenance, if necessary.
Keeps IS&T up to date on any changes and implementations.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in computer science, security administrator or equivalent relevant work experience with relevant certificates such as Security+, Cisco or Microsoft, or SANS strongly desired
Working knowledge of Cisco networking, UCS, and Microsoft O365, Active Directory and Azure desired
VMware ESXi experience is preferred. Experience with VMware vCenter, Veeam Backup and Recovery is not required but recommended. Desktop Server OS experience is highly desired.
