The Department of Anesthesiology at the Yale University School of Medicine is expanding and seeking Faculty Anesthesiologists to join their growing Ambulatory Division of Anesthesiology. Qualified candidates must be Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in anesthesiology and have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, as well as the commitment to make important contributions to the field of Anesthesia.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Faculty provide a full range of state-of-the-art ambulatory anesthesia services, including the management of all varieties of high-risk outpatients.
• In addition to providing anesthesia care in the large operating room suites at York Street and St. Raphael sites, the section is involved with non-operating room anesthesia in Yale gastrointestinal and pulmonary endoscopy facilities, ECT services, and ambulatory centers in North Haven and Guilford, Connecticut.
• Faculty are involved with clinical care, bedside and didactic teaching of residents, and consultation and collaboration with a wide variety of surgeons and procedural specialists regarding ambulatory patients.
• Clinical research program with opportunities to participate in research projects and present findings at national meetings.
• Yale offers the opportunity for collaborative research efforts with multiple surgical colleagues as well as active clinical outcomes research team.
