Position Purpose:
Partners with the HR generalist teams, for the Merchandising, Customer Experience, Online, and Marketing business groups, to drive simplicity and removal of select activity to enable HRG resources to focus on associate & leader support. May perform duties in any of the following - performing Workday transactional tasks, research / handle informational inquiries, HR reporting, data insights, support of life cycle events (e.g., support of Talent Planning, VOA, Internships, PACE cycles, onboarding, and position management/ associate programs). This role partners with Sr. HR Managers and HR Managers to drive efficiencies and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct employee relations investigations and fact finding.
- Assist line management with MSS related training and transaction support.
- Assist HR Manager in delivering Leadership Training
- Assist in the selection of Leadership positions
- Assist in the communication and enrollment process of employee benefits programs
- Interpret and provide guidance on corporate policy and call center practices
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Typically reports to Sr Human Resources Manager
- No direct responsibility for supervising others.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in processing HR related transactions
- Experience in administering compensation programs
- Experience in administering a company's corrective action process
- Experience providing actional insights through data analysis
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Minimum Years of Work Experience:
- 2
Competencies:
- Basic computer skills and experience with word processing software.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of principles, procedures, and employment laws and regulations.
- Skilled at conflict resolution
- Using systematic approaches
