  • Develop system requirements, technical designs, and implement logical solutions through the use of structured programming concepts and modern programming methods.
  • Establish and maintain client confidence by delivering quality system solutions within project timelines and budgetary limits.
  • Respond to System problem calls (24x7) in a timely manner in order to avoid system downtime.
  • Interact and work with team members and other departments.
  • Collect requirements for, design, and implement lottery Second Chance and Loyalty modules using primarily PHP and SQL running on Windows Servers.
  • Support codebases running on production site, including, but not limited to, being on-call to support production issues.
  • Contribute to design and development of tools, utilities, and framework components.
  • Work with Lead Software Engineer to evaluate feature, schedule and resource trade-offs and make informed, long-term recommendations.
  • Work with Lead Software Engineer to develop schedules for projects.
  • Assist NOC engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues from clients.
  • Create and maintain installation software for different system components.
  • Collaborate with software development team.
  • Complete code reviews.
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field.
  • Must have functional knowledge in the following:
  • Software design and development.
  • PHP and SQL on a Windows platform.
  • Software development tools including debuggers, bug tracking and source control systems.
  • Experience writing DB queries.
  • Drug testing and background check required.
  • 5% domestic travel required.
