- Act as a liaison between AMCOM Safety and coordinate technical data delivery for Software System Safety Technical Review Panel (SSSTRP) reviews
- Collaborate with Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) for safety updates, host safety audits, and ensure resolution of issues
- Oversee the incorporation of safety requirements throughout the software life cycle phases, ensuring end-to-end traceability and formal verification
- Ensure compliance with government safety standards and regulations such as AMCOM, MIL-STD 882, etc.
- Identify and document safety hazards in a Hazard Tracking System with appropriate mitigations and risk assessments
- Conduct functional hazard analyses for safety-significant functions in complex systems, maintaining a high Level of Rigor (LOR) in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Track and resolve safety-related trouble reports promptly
- Provide regular updates to senior management on safety program status and contribute to technical reviews, briefings, documents, and test events
- Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or four years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required)
- Proficiency in Air and Missile Defense Systems
