- Examine and assess new inmates/residents with illnessesor injuries or inmates/residents who become ill or injured; referinmates/residents to the emergency room or other appropriatehealthcare facilities as required by theircondition.
- Perform emergency procedures as needed and notifyLicensed Independent Provider for treatmentorders.
- Provide guidance, supervise and monitor nursing careprovided by licensed vocational/practical nursing staff andnon-licensed medicalstaff.
- Graduate from an accreditedcollege, university or nursing program with a degree/diploma innursing.
- Must possess current licensure in the state ofemployment.
- One(1) year of professional nursing experiencepreferred.
- Avalid driver's license isrequired.
