- High School diploma or equivalent required

- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- American Heart Association First Aid within 90 days of hire
- Handle With Care within 6 months of hire
- Six months of experience working with target population

Assisting patients with daily activities
Providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions
Observing and recording patient behavior and activities, reporting any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff
Ensuring patient and staff safety by initiating behavioral interventions as trained and seeking authorization when necessary
Conducting visual monitoring and personal searches of clients
Leading psychoeducational groups
Identifying discharge resources and assisting in coordination
