    Description


    This position will receive an hourly Coastal Differential (additional compensation) in addition to the base hourly rate due to the needs of the Coastal Clinics.

    JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSEAssists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient records and relaying test results. Performs delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a physician or mid-level practitioner.

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe Primary Care teams at Samaritan Health Services offer complete health care for all family members from newborns to seniors through their pediatric, family medicine and internal medicine providers.

    They encourage and offer preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings and counseling regarding health and lifestyle.
    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSCurrent unencumbered Oregon Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic licensure required.
    Healthcare Provider BLS required.
    Experience or training in medical terminology preferred.
    Lab/EKG experience preferred.
    Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred.
