**Respiratory Care Practitioner Position at Saint Luke's South in Overland Park**

Saint Luke's South in Overland Park is looking for a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner to join their esteemed Respiratory Therapy team. If you are passionate about patient care and continuous learning, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

**Responsibilities :**
Perform diagnostic and metabolic testing
Conduct patient assessment and treatment planning
Execute therapeutic interventions and provide analysis on clinical response
Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
Offer patient and family education, as well as discharge planning

To excel in this role, effective communication and organizational skills are essential to establish strong patient relationships. Working collaboratively with nursing, physicians, and other team members is crucial.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience: 2 years

Must hold Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross, and possess relevant respiratory therapy licenses

Minimum requirement of an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy

RRT certification is required within one year of hire
