    About the Role:

    • The Technical Product Owner (TPO) for fraud applications plays a pivotal role responsible for steering the strategic direction of fraud products within our organization.
    • The TPO will work closely with various business and IT stakeholders to ensure the ecosystem of fraud applications aligns with organizational goals and delivers value.
    • This role requires a blend of technical expertise, product management acumen, and a deep understanding of business processes and requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Define and communicate the vision, roadmap, and goals for fraud products.
    • Align product strategies with organizational objectives and ensure the applications continue to deliver value.
    • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring the work aligns with product goals and delivers value.
    • Work closely with development teams to refine and clarify requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of backlog items.
    • Plan and manage application releases, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective deliveries.
    • Evaluate the impact of new features and changes, and communicate this to relevant stakeholders.
    • Engage with various stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure the fraud applications meet their requirements.
    • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating communication and understanding.
    • Monitor and analyze product performance, usage metrics, and feedback to continually improve the fraud applications.
    • Promote the adoption of best practices in product management and fraud tool configurations within the organization.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's Degree or relevant product management certification is a plus.
    • Minimum three or more years of experience with fraud tools, including a solid understanding of the capabilities and features (e.g. Verafin, Actimize-Fraud Essentials, Socure, etc.).
    • Experience in product management, product ownership, or a similar role, preferably within a technology or IT service management environment.
    • Strong understanding of anti-fraud processes and best practices.
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and prioritize work based on value, risk, and dependencies.
    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile, and fast-paced environment.
    • Certifications with one or more fraud tools is desired. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar agile product management certification is a plus.

    Location: Hybrid 1 day onsite in Sacramento, CA

    Salary Range: The salary for this position is $107,000 - $125,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
