    Surgical Tech – Aitkin, MN

    Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift
     

    Position Overview

    • Permanent, full-time role
    • 40 hours per week
    • Day shift (8hr)
    • On Call 7-8x /month
    • Cerner Charting System

    Shift Details

    • 9 hr day shift (4x9s)
    • with call, appx every 7th or 8th weekend

    Compensation & Incentives

    • Salary range: $56,160 - $63,648
    • Comprehensive benefits package

    Key Responsibilities

    • This position is responsible for preparing and providing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment to support surgical procedures.
    • The role involves maintaining the sterile field, anticipating, and responding to the needs of the surgical team.
    • It requires providing care and assistance to patients of all ages, including newborns, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

    Requirements

    • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program, or
    • Minimum of 2 years of surgical scrub experience with related clinical training (e.g., LPN, Military).
    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
    • American Heart Association BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
    • If Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), must maintain an active Minnesota LPN license.
