    We seek a dedicated and proactive Account Supervisor to join our team in the heart of San Francisco's Financial District. As an Account Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading high-profile PR and marketing accounts that focus on authentically connecting brands with multicultural and mass-market media, public officials, and community-based organizations. Your responsibilities will include developing campaign strategies, drafting press materials, guiding creative, conducting media/community outreach, coordinating and executing media events, overseeing day-to-day client needs/requests, and managing a direct report (Account Executive level).

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Lead an integrated cross-functional team for multiple brands.
    • Address and achieve strategic brand objectives for clients and drive award-winning, high impact, integrated campaigns.
    • Own client relationships by establishing solid trust-based ties with senior-level clients. Maintain ultimate accountability for the success of the agency's relationship with our clients.
    • Drive development of client relationships by meeting and exceeding their expectations, as well as identify new opportunities, and build growth strategies into our work.
    • Understand client challenges and be able to define IW Group's approach and strategy. Proactively articulate a plan of action and guide successful implementation on behalf of our clients.
    • Build a high-performing team culture, working in close partnership with strategic, creative, production, PR and activation leads.
    • Build knowledge and expertise of functional roles and continuously improve on ways to drive quality work across all disciplines.
    • Serve as a champion of bold thinking and innovative solutions that surprise and delight the client.
    • Identify and build an ongoing pipeline of opportunities that create pathways for our team to grow the business and differentiate our agency's strengths.
    • Stay active and involved in strategy and creative reviews and in all major presentation reviews and key client meetings.
    • Manage dynamic thriving accounts that include ongoing retail campaigns + integrated brand campaigns.

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIRMENTS:

    Education:

    • Bachelor's or vocational college degree from a fully accredited college or university.

    Experience:

    • Experience with multicultural and Asian/Pacific Islander consumers.
    • Experience leading integrated brand campaigns.
    • Proven experience growing business.
    • Ability to role model the agency's vision and connect it to clients' goals and interests.
    • Strong pulse on culture, diversity, community, traditional/digital/social media, and new communication trends and practices.
    • Minimum of 5+ years professional work experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years in a client-facing managerial role or above.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an advertising, media, or digital agency.

    • Possess excellent client relations skills, shows empathy, and values authentic relationships.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and editing).
    • Must possess good organizational skills, demonstrated initiative, flexibility, sound judgment and a positive attitude.
    • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage deadlines.
    • Passion for an understanding and supporting multicultural communities or has the capacity to learn quickly.
    • Proficiency in basic software (i.e., MS Office) and social media platforms.
    • Commitment to producing the best work possible (aka willing to work long hours when necessary).
    • Must be willing and able to travel.
    • A sense of humor, positive work attitude, and demonstrated flexibility.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Setting clear objectives for team members. Overseeing workflow and monitoring productivity. Providing guidance and support through coaching.     HYBRID WORK MODEL:

    • IW Group has adopted a hybrid work model. Teams set their own in-office schedule but are requested to work in-office at least twice per week.
    • While performing the responsibilities of this role, the employee will spend most of the time working indoors, in the IW Group office, client office or other identified location.
    • This role may require extended work hours (including weekends) to complete certain projects, with or without advance notice.
    • This role may require work outside of the office (i.e., client events) or travel outside of the local work area (i.e., national or international client locations).
