    Independence Rehab is hiring an Entry-Level Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant for Bethany at SilverLake, a highly regarded skilled nursing facility in Everett, WA.

    If you're a new graduate or entry-level PTA looking for a supportive SNF role with stability, mentorship, and protection from unrealistic facility pressure, this is a great fit.

    We're a small, therapist-owned company that manages therapy operations independently - meaning we advocate for our clinicians, provide real clinical support, and value strong clinical judgment.

    Training + Onboarding (You Won't Be Thrown In)

    We don't believe in the "sink or swim" approach - especially for new grads.

    New team members receive:

    What You'll Do

    As the PTA, you'll treat a geriatric population in a SNF setting, including:

    • Functional mobility and gait training
    • Transfer training (all levels)
    • Fall prevention and safety training
    • Treatment of clinically complex patients
    • Carrying out treatment plans under PT supervision
    • Collaboration with nursing, OT, ST, and facility staff

    Requirements

    • Current PTA license in good standing (Washington or another state), with the ability/willingness to obtain a Washington PTA license
    • Degree from an accredited PTA program
    • Organized, self-starter who enjoys the geriatric population
    • SNF experience preferred - but not required
      • If you're caring, motivated, and licensed, we'll support your growth

    Relocation

    We are open to relocation assistance for entry-level therapists, based on individual circumstances.
