Position Overview: Are you a skilled and enthusiastic runner/server with a passion for sustainability and a commitment to reducing our environmental impact? We are seeking a dedicated runner/server to join our team at Purple Waves. As a runner/server, you will play a crucial role in creating good experiences for our diverse community. As a new business, it is important that our staff members are team players and happy to assist with various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Take orders from customers
• Run food/drink
• Bus tables
• Wash dishes
• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all patrons
• Stay updated on coffee, beverage and food offerings,
• Support our commitment to sustainability, circularity, waste elimination, and local sourcing

Qualifications:

• Previous barista experience as a runner/server preffered
• A deep understanding and appreciation of sustainability, circularity, waste elimination, and local sourcing is strongly preferred
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
